Position Description

General Otolaryngologist

North Bay Regional Health Centre is looking to recruit a General Otolaryngologist to join our two other full time otolaryngologists.

If you want to establish a community practice rich in all aspects of your field while enjoying your home/family life (cutting out the commute and high cost of living!), this job is for you!

Job Description:

Department of Surgery also includes General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, and Ophthalmology. We work alongside a
skilled group of FRCPC anesthesiologists.

System (with recurrent nerve monitoring). We also have a full complement of bronchoscopes and rhino-laryngoscopes in-hospital.
OtoHNS has a generous resource allocation at NBRHC.

The successful recruit would be allocated 3 operating room blocks per month, and 2 ambulatory procedure time blocks per month.
These blocks would be available as a starting base, with more blocks available as dictated by operative/procedural volume.
The call requirement would be 1 in 3 shared equally between all three otolaryngologists.

The organization is an affiliated academic teaching centre with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) and our service is
involved in teaching medical students and Family Medicine residents.
