Job Summary:
The North Bay Regional Health Centre, Service of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking Locum Orthopaedic Surgeons to provide on-call coverage, including emergency consultation and surgery. Locum assignments are available each month and generally run a week at a time from Tuesday morning until handover the following Tuesday morning. Locum dates are flexible and can be coordinated around the locums schedule as much as possible. Shorter locum assignments can also be considered if it better accommodates a locum’s availability.

Qualifications:
- RCPSC orthopaedic surgery certification with CPSO independent license in good standing
- Community orthopaedic skill set, including experience & comfort with community orthopaedic trauma
Remuneration:
- Combination of OHIP fee-for-service billings and a daily Hospital On-Call Compensation (HOCC) stipend of $463
- Daily HealthForce Ontario (HFO) honourarium of $331 per day of services.
- Travel and accommodation expenses reimbursed by the HFO NSLP program.
- Travel sessionals (based on time) and honourarium of $331 for each day of travel from HFO NSLP program.
